Remember it is now summer and this is the depth of the snow that remains !!
Lots of Alpine Accentors up here and we all thought we heard a Caspian Snowcock but after hours of scanning in near freezing temperatures, we couldn't find it.

We stopped here for lunch, it was fabulous !
and just look how they had utilised their waste plastic bottles.....now why don't we do that?
