A few hours at Donna Nook, Lincs

Two redstarts - aren't these birds just so smart looking

 Kestrel

Wren

A beautiful short-eared owl gave us a good show

After such a fabulous week birding on the Yorkshire coast we thought we would head to Donna Nook for a few hours. Before leaving the car park we had brief views of Pallas Warbler but no sign of the rose-coloured starling that had been reported earlier. Chatted to lots of nice folk and we wish the lovely couple we met all the luck in the world with their two year list ! A couple of redstarts, brambling and a short-eared owl were the highlights of our day.
