Muston Scarecrow Festival 2016

Karen had been looking forward to this day for some time now, and she certainly wasn't disappointed. It was very busy but we eventually got parked and chatted to a local in the car park who told us he had made 'The Young Ones', our favourite from a couple of years back. Lets see how he did this year......

Without doubt our favourite 'scarecrow' from this years display was Wacky Races, it was absolutely fantastic. The work that had gone into it was staggering, the detail and likeness of the characters was unbelievable. We chatted to loads of people at this display and all said it was their favourite this year.

It really is a wonderful day out and we hope that you enjoy looking at our photos.  We did hope for a bit of sun today but we didn't see one single ray all day !

A big thank you to all the villagers who work all week so we can enjoy the festival and an even bigger thank you to all the folk who have pasted, glued, sewn and painted their exhibits, they are wonderful.

This 'Book of Rhymes' was our second choice.
A very pretty display that everyone stopped and admired.
